Where We Come From

Atlanta Tile Installation is based at 824 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd in the West End — right in the middle of the neighborhoods where most of our work happens. We are not a national franchise or a large company with crews you have never met. We are a small local operation, and that is intentional.

The work we take on is residential and light commercial tile installation: bathroom floors and shower walls, kitchen backsplashes, entryway floors, laundry room floors, and occasional commercial flooring projects for small businesses in the area. We focus on doing this work well rather than stretching into every trade under the sun.

How We Think About the Work

Tile is one of those things that looks simple until it is done wrong. A floor that is not level, a shower pan that was not properly waterproofed, grout lines that wander — these problems show up months or years later, and they cost more to fix than they would have cost to prevent. We prep substrates properly, use the correct thinset for the tile weight and the surface type, and check our layout before the first piece goes down.

We work in West End, Adair Park, Capitol View, and Mechanicsville regularly. These are neighborhoods with a lot of older housing stock — bungalows from the 1920s and 1940s, houses with wood subfloors that have settled over the decades, bathrooms that have been updated piecemeal. We know what to look for and how to handle it without blowing up a project scope unnecessarily.

What to Expect From Us

We show up when we say we will. We give you a written estimate before work starts. We communicate if something unexpected comes up mid-job rather than surprising you with it afterward. We clean up at the end of each day and walk through the finished work with you before we leave.
